Schlitz & Giggles

Silly Name. Serious Pizza

Upon reaching Baton Rouge, we headed downtown in search of dinner. A giant flashing neon pizza proclaiming Schlitz & Giggles beckoned, and we answered the call. Inside, we found a somewhat typical college town pizza joint. We ordered a pizza and some Schlitz. The pizza was a simple thin crust pizza. The pizza was tasty and the beer was cold. It was college town pizza joint pizza. If it is late at night and you are hungry and the all the other restaurants are closed and you are in downtown Baton Rouge, check out Schlitz & Giggles. How's that for a glowing recommendation? ;)

It doesn't get much classier than this

Hofbräuhaus

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas replicates the building, food, and atmosphere of the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany. They offer a fun taste of Bavaria. We enjoyed a hearty meal of Schnitzel and wurst, and huge beers.  A couple table-mates kept offering to buy me more beer, but I had to call it quits after two. (As is more common in Germany than North America, you may find yourself sharing a table with strangers. They don't need to stay strangers.)
